About
John Goff has over twenty years of experience as a private investigator, practicing in both Virginia and Washington state. Prior to that, he served eight years with the US Army as an human intelligence specialiast. He's been extensively trained interviewing and analyzing statements by both public and private sector agencies. He was also a certified instructor with Virginia for private investigators, personal protection specialists, security officers, and general firearms for several years. He's worked nearly a thousand individual cases ranging from missing persons to murder and fraud, with well over 500 personal injury civil litigation investigations.
John received a B.A. in History from Virginia Tech and also holds an A.A.S. in Paralegal Studies. While in the military, he finished top of his class at the US Army Intelligence Center & School (Fort Huachuca), the Basic Leadership Course (Fort Drum), and in the Korean language course at the Defense Language Institute (Monterey). Outside of the industry, he is an award-winning game designer, has published one novel, several short stories, and has even collaborated on a comic series. He's an avid dog lover, and in his spare time, John enjoys hiking, caving, and otherwise enjoying the outdoors, as well as tinkering with 3D printers.
